HISTORY MINOR

(21 Credits)

The History minor prepares students to better understand the present, to develop tolerance, and to engage in both entertainment and critical thinking. At 18 credit hours with great flexibility in choosing courses, the minor complements many majors, including such neighboring disciplines as anthropology and geography, art history, digital culture and design, communication, English, philosophy, politics, religion, sociology, and strategic languages and cultures. History minors become excellent researchers, analysts, and writers—important skills in the information age and invaluable to employers in many fields.
