Tisdale has always had a home in Myrtle Beach. She is passionate about helping others in her community and began her career with AmeriCorps at a street outreach center for runaway, homeless, and at-risk youth. She has since worked as a case manager for a transitional living program for runaway and homeless youth and a Guardian Ad Litem, acting as a liaison between the court system and children in foster care.
