International Students

International students who completed education outside of the United States are required to submit official academic records and certifications of degrees for all postsecondary institutions attended. In addition to original transcripts, foreign transcripts must be translated into English and evaluated course-by-course to the American grading system and course equivalences. This evaluation can be requested through any member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). Members can be found on their website: www.naces.org/members. All transcripts must be sent directly to the Coastal Carolina University Office of Graduate Studies from the credentialing entity.

For information about English language proficiency requirements and conditional admission, please contact Amy Williams (interim assistant director for International Recruitment and Admissions) at aewilliam@coastal.edu or +1 843-349-2521.

For questions about visa support for graduate study, please contact Geoffrey Parsons (director, Office of International Programs and Services) at parsons@coastal.edu or +1 843-349-2054.
