Saturday Tours
In the event that your schedule cannot accommodate a weekday visit or Discovery Day program, tours are offered on selected Saturdays. Please note that these programs are offered on a space-available basis; attendance is limited and reservations are highly recommended. Check-in is at 9 a.m. and the tour begins at 9:30 and ends at 11 a.m. An Admissions Counselor will be available after the tour, but no additional faculty and staff are present.

Discovery Days
Discovery Days offer our most complete visit experience and occur in the spring semester. You will have the chance to tour the campus, talk with current students, learn about our academic programs, and meet other students who are choosing Coastal Carolina University. These programs typically take place on a Saturday and attract prospective students from South Carolina and across the U.S. Admissions and financial aid counselors are available after the program to answer questions. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the program begins at 9:30 a.m. The tour will end at approximately noon.

Weekday Tours
Weekday tours offer our most personalized visit experience. Students and parents participate in a guided tour and have the opportunity to speak with an admissions counselor. Tours are offered September through April at 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., Monday through Friday (except holidays and Winter Break). May through August, tours are offered only at 9:30 a.m. Meetings with financial aid counselors, faculty, department heads or coaches must be scheduled in advance by contacting those offices directly (see online Directory or contact us for assistance).

Transfer Information Sessions
Transfer Information Sessions introduce prospective transfer students to the campus and provide information about the transfer process. You will have the chance to tour the campus, learn about our academic programs, and talk with admissions counselors and University staff about services for transfer students. Students who bring a completed application and a sealed copy of their official college transcript(s) will receive an application fee waiver. If your group is planning a visit to Coastal Carolina University, please call the Office of Admissions at 843-349-2753. We will be happy to work with you and offer suggestions in terms of tour content, date, and time. Please note that tour dates and times may depend on the availability of tour guides as well as the University's operating schedule.

Weekday campus tours begin in the Welcome Center in Baxley Hall (#1 on the map). The street address for Baxley Hall is 100 Chanticleer Drive East, Conway, SC 29528.

Parking
Weekday visitors may park in a designated visitor's space or, with a temporary parking permit, in any space except those designated a faculty/staff, handicap, or reserved. If you sign-up for a weekday tour, a temporary parking permit will be mailed to you. If you are a walk-in visitor, you can obtain a temporary parking permit in the Welcome Center in Baxley Hall. Saturday visitors can park in any space except those designated as handicap or reserved. A parking permit is not required (exceptions—football game days).
Driving Directions
From the north:
Travel I-95 South into South Carolina. Follow I-95 to Exit 181A. Turn left onto SC Hwy. 38. Follow Hwy. 38 to the intersection of US Hwy. 501. Turn right onto Hwy. 501 and proceed to Conway/Myrtle Beach. Continue on Hwy. 501 through Conway and Coastal Carolina University will be on the right. Turn right onto University Blvd. at the stoplight with the Coastal Carolina University sign. Tours begin in the rotunda at the rear of Bill Baxley Hall (formerly known as University Hall).
From the south:
Travel I-95 North. Take Exit 170. Follow SC Hwy. 327 to the intersection with SC Hwy. 576. Turn left onto Hwy. 576 and follow toward Conway/Myrtle Beach. Hwy. 576 will merge with Hwy. 501. Follow Hwy. 501 through Conway and Coastal Carolina University will be on the right. Turn right onto University Blvd. at the stoplight with the Coastal Carolina University sign. From Columbia, SC:

Airport Information
Myrtle Beach International Airport is approximately 15 miles (24 km) from Coastal Carolina University. Give yourself plenty of time to travel from the airport to the campus as traffic is heavy, especially during the summer months. The following airlines provide service to Myrtle Beach: Allegiant Airlines, Delta Airlines, Porter Airlines, Spirit Airlines, United Airlines, and U.S. Airways. Car rentals and taxis are also available at the airport.
