Our Mission
The mission of Financial Aid and Scholarships is to support the goals of the University by assisting students and parents in identifying possible sources of assistance that will encourage economic, social, cultural and academic diversity in the student body. In fulfilling this mission, the office provides counseling and information on financial resources, educational financial planning, personal money management and debt management. We also support the University's goal to provide access to higher education and to attract a talented and diverse student population.

Don't forget that you need to be registered in your classes on or before the term's census date to be eligible for federal or state aid.
Regular 16/SP census date: Jan. 19, 2016
16/SP Spring I census date: Jan. 12, 2016
16/SP Spring II census date: March 15, 2016

If you have classes that begin on an irregular date, the census dates may be different.

Did you know? There is a 12-semester lifetime limit for Federal Pell Grant.
The duration of a student's Federal Pell Grant eligibility is limited to 12 semesters or until a bachelor's degree is earned, whichever comes first. This new amendment to the Higher Education Act, Section 401 (c)(5) is a federal mandate and not subject to appeal. For more information, click here.
