  • Award Value: $1,000
  • Available to South Carolina residents pursuing an education in a business-related field. The applicant must be a rising sophomore, junior or senior.

Chuan Ai Lu Engstrom Memorial Scholarship Contest

  • Deadline: August 1 and December 1
  • Award: $1,000
  • Available to current full time undergraduate students with a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA. Students will submit a minimum 800-word essay on a given topic.

  • Available to current or future full time college students. Applicant must submit a resume based on the life of any fictional or non-fictional character.

  • Available to students currently enrolled in 12th grade in a public school in South Carolina. Entries are in the form of creative writing, dance, music, theatre, or visual arts.

South Carolina Nature-Based Tourism Association (SCNBTA)
Richard Mikell Annual Scholarship Award

  • Deadline:  December
  • Award Value:  $500
  • Available to students from any field of study such as marketing, environmental sciences and others. The scholarship is based on a 2000 word essay on “How to Improve Nature-Based Tourism Marketing” in the State of South Carolina. Submissions along with student’s contact information/degree of study, and a short paragraph by a student’s professor explaining why he/she should receive this scholarship, may be sent via email to: info@scnatureadventures.com and are due no later than December 1, 2012.

  • Available to any student that has been accepted or attends a community college, technical/trade college, or university.
