As a Visual Arts major, you will enjoy premier facilities including three graphic design labs; a black and white photography darkroom; a digital imaging lab; multiple studios for sculpture, ceramics, painting, drawing, and printmaking; state-of-the-art lecture halls for art history; and a gallery program centered in the 1,445-square-foot Rebecca Randall Bryan Art Gallery.

The Department of Visual Arts is located in the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards Humanities & Fine Arts building, completed in 2001, along with the Departments of English, History, Philosophy & Religion, Politics & Geography, Threatre, and Music.

The Edwards Building, the single largest building on campus, houses 57 classrooms, 10 Art Studio spaces, a 200 seat recital hall, a blackbox theater, faculty offices, and a central open air courtyard.
