Coastal Carolina University's Department of Visual Arts offers a B.A. (bachelor of arts) degree in studio art with concentrations in graphic design, painting, printmaking, photography, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, and art education. We also offer a Masters of Arts in Teaching with a specialization in art.

The program currently boasts:

• 175 + majors
• 11 full-time faculty
• 8 part-time faculty

The Visual Arts faculty are “art and design professionals”, ideally qualified to prepare students for a successful career as an artist. The achievements and reputation of the faculty have earned the program national accreditation with the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).
