Charge of the committee:
- Ensure consensus about what the institution expects students to represent or demonstrate along the continuum of their development.
- Provide leadership in the review, evaluation, and use of data for continuous improvement and accountability for student growth and development and unit assessment plans.
- Disseminate results of student growth and development in order to use assessment to inform the budget process.
- Monitor assessment of student growth and development outcomes in the division of student affairs, athletics, honors program, and international student programs.
- Determine how to integrate data collected for continuous improvement and accountability among student affairs, athletics, honor program and international student program.
- Use the assessment results to verify student growth and development and to identify patterns of weakness in order to improve programs and services.
- Provide an annual report to the University-Wide Assessment Committee documenting changes, strengths, and weaknesses of student growth and development.
- Determine how outputs in the form of products, services, and information will be received and measured by students.
