Youth Leadership Academy
In 2008, the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Coastal Carolina University launched a Youth Leadership Academy for 10th grade students from six counties along the Grand Strand and Pee Dee. The one day program is designed to recognize the student's leadership talents and apply those talents as the students learn to become effective, ethical leaders in their home, school, workplace and community.
