Selection of Board Members
The Bridges review board is composed of full-time CCU faculty members representing a wide variety of disciplines who are interested in and qualified by their expertise to serve as reviewers for submissions to Bridges. Ideally, the review board will include 20-25 members, including at least one member from each of the following disciplines:
| •Biology |
•Music |
| •Business |
•Philosophy |
| •Creative Writing |
•Physics |
| •Economics |
•Political Science |
| •Education |
•Psychology |
| •History |
•Sociology |
| •Literary Studies |
•Theatre |
| •Marine Science |
•Visual Art |
Any current full-time faculty member is eligible to serve on the review board. Faculty members must be nominated to serve on the board (by a fellow faculty member, a chair, a dean, or by themselves) and then approved by majority vote for service in the following year by the sitting Board, normally during the Spring semester meeting of the Editorial Review Board.

During their period of service on the Editorial Review Board, all members agree to perform the following tasks:

| •Offering specific written comments on any submission considered for publication (whether the work is accepted or not) |

Editor and Managing Editor Positions
The following year’s Editor and Managing Editor will normally be chosen at the Spring Semester meeting of the Editorial Review Board. While it is common for both of these positions to be filled by members of the current year’s sitting Board, it is possible for these positions to be filled from outside the Board. Each of these positions comes with a stipend.
Candidates for the paid positions of Editor and Managing Editor Positions will be nominated by members of the Editorial Review Board and elected by the Editorial Review Board.
