Installment Payment Plan Terms and Conditions
Eligibility
1. The applicant must be a student enrolled at Coastal Carolina University for a minimum of 3 credit hours.
2. The applicant must be current (no past due balances) on all past charges owed to the University.
3. Installment Payment Plans are available for fall and spring semesters only. IPPs are not offered for May, Summer I or Summer II semesters.
4. The applicant is responsible to inform Coastal Carolina University of changes to contact information including name, address, telephone numbers, payment source information, etc. If changes are made during the plan term initiated by this application or future plan terms that result in delinquent receipt of payments, the applicant will be responsible for any late pay fees and other collection costs. Plan Set-up
1. Installment Payment Plans are calculated on all student charges, including tuition, housing, meal plans and other miscellaneous charges. The plan amount established will be computed net of pending financial aid.
2. The plan amount is payable in three installments, the first installment to include a plan set-up charge of $35, payable with the application.
3. Changes to student charges and/or changes to financial aid awards after the initial plan set-up will revise plan amounts.
4. Coastal Carolina University will assess a plan set-up charge at published rates at the time the plan is established with the application and first installment payment.
Payments
1. Payments may be made by cash, check, money order, Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.
2. Coastal Carolina University does not offer auto-charge. For future installments, you must contact the Bursar Office in person of by phone, fax your card information, or pay online using WebAdvisor on or before the due date to avoid late pay charges of $25 for each late payment.
3. The applicant will pay the plan set-up charge and the first plan installment with the plan application.
4. Future installments are due on Sep. 1 and Oct. 1 for Fall Semester, Feb. 1 and March 1 for Spring Semester. Payments not received at the Office of the Bursar by the due date are subject to late pay charges. Payments by mail must be postmarked by the due date. Faxed or phoned payments must be received by the due date to avoid late pay charges.
5. Coastal Carolina University will issue an electronic payment reminder for remaining installments approximately seven days prior to the due date. The email reminder will be issued to the student's coastal.edu email address. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure the payer, if different, receives the reminder notification.
NOTE: The Net Payment Plan Amount is subject to change if any adjustments are made to class schedules, financial aid or other charges/credits are applied to the student account. Please contact the Office of the Bursar if adjustments are made during the semester plan period.
FUTURE INTALLMENTS: The minimum 2nd installment amount is one-half of your "Current Balance" as of the day you are paying your 2nd installment. See WebAdvisor for current balance due.
