WELCOME

The Wall Center for Excellence is in place to further enhance and reinforce the Wall College student's skills through experiential learning and application skills module training. The services of the Wall Center are open at no cost to ALL students of the Wall College of Business, REGARDLESS OF CLASS YEAR OR MAJOR.

INTERNSHIPS:

As part of the Center functions, we are sourcing, coordinating, tracking and evaluating internships for those students in the College not already involved with the Resort Tourism Management and Golf Management programs. Internship applications and a list of current internship opportunities may be accessed through the links on this site on the menu at the left. Instructions for applying for internships are also provided there.



WORKSHOPS:

We assist all students in the Wall College of Business in better presenting themselves to outside firms as prospective employees by providing workshops in areas such as Behavioral Interviewing, Resume Writing and Time Management. The center also provides individualized one-on-one coaching in resume preparation and interview preparation and debriefing after the interview.

In addition, we provide students with training that complements student academic curriculums in applied business skill areas such as Problem Solving Skills, Decision Analysis, Business Writing, and Presenting for Results and Business Negotiating Skills.

The Wall Center Seminar Schedule, including a link to sign up for the sessions, may also be accessed through the links on this site. All workshops are conducted in the Professional Development classroom of the Wall Center for Excellence in Wall 229.


PROFILES AND FULL TIME JOB POSTINGS:

We have implemented a system of Wall Center student profiles that puts all of the relevant information about a student's skills, education and work experiences in one place to be sent to prospective employers at student request. This information includes all resumes of all Wall College students and other assessments, and complements our full time job postings, career counseling and placement services.
