	Position Description:	Monitor and assist with downtown development programs in and around Conway, SC. Projects will be mainly associated with the arts community and may require engagement with social, cultural, and government officials. Create! Conway is the main sponsor for the first Saturday ARTS WALK in downtown Conway and as such this internship position would require a person to aid in production, marketing, and delivering these events. The Arts community of Conway would like to continue to develop plans to bring an Arts Museum to Conway. Presently there are local and state governmental agencies that have access to historical sites that may serve in this capacity. This internship position would require that the intern would keep up with the movement on the various locations at the local and state level through attending meetings with government and cultural entities.

	Learning Expectation:	How to develop networks and social and governmental organizations. How to work with a variety of professions and professionals in the cultural arts industry. Various management and marketing techniques. Grant writing.

	Learning Skills:	Excellent interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills such as word, excel, email, etc.
