Organizational mission or general goals:
AARP is a non-profit, non-partisan membership organization that helps people 50 years of age or older have independence, choice, and control in ways that are beneficial to them ans society as a whole and provides useful information a series of local chapters, state and national offices.
Primary services provided:
SERVICES FOR SENIORS: Provides information to Chapter members and the community in Horry County on Educational and Learning opportunities, Legislative Activities, Consumer Protection/Frauds/Scams and a broad range of subjects of interest to persons 50 years of age or older.
Primary clientele served:
Persons 50 years of age or older.
Employees and/or volunteers:
AARP Ocean Lakes Chapter has 65 volunteers.
AARP Little River Chapter has 35 volunteers
