Organizational mission or general goals:
To provide non-medical support services for the elderly and chronically ill persons in Horry County who want to remain independent in their own homes. Services are provided by trained volunteers without any fees or eligibility requirements.
Primary services provided:
A variety of in-home services are provided but medical transportation is the current focus. As our volunteer bases increases we will be offering more of the folowing services: Shopping, visitation, phone assurance, light housekeeping, respite care.
Primary clientele served:
Home-bound elderly and those with long-term health problems.
Employees and/or volunteers:
3 part time; 84 volunteers
Staff members eligible for professional credentialing and credentialed staff members employed:
None required. GRACE MINISTRIES is a private, non-profit corporation, founded in 2005, and a member of the Faith in Action National Network.
