Organizational mission or general goals: To serve the hearing impaired with the highest degree of professionalism, technology and service available. Primary services provided: Free hearing screenings, video otoscopy, cleaning and adjustment of current instruments, and conformity evaluation of your current instruments. Modifications and in-house repairs (charges according to cost of repairs). Programming of most manufacturers' hearing instruments.
Primary clientele served: Primary clientele served - the largest group with hearing loss is ages 18-64. This group is approximately 19 million strong compared to 14 million in the 65 and over age group. Hearing loss affects all ages, even school children. Sound Solutions strives to care for those individuals who need assisted listening devices to communicate more effectively on a day to day basis.

Organization accredited or certified by an outside agency or association: International Institute for Hearing Instruments Studies; National Board Certification; South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. National board certification in hearing instrument sciences, mid-Atlantic hearing society, NCHAFB.
Special services or pricing for senior citizens: Free initial consultation and free hearing screenings.
Comments: *We provide informational seminars on hearing loss and it's affect on the day-to-day lives of those with a hearing loss. We provide consultations on the latest in hearing aid technology as well as assisted listening devices on the market today. These include hearing aids, blue-tooth and wireless loop technology and amplified phone systems. *The Community Outreach Program is designed to work with area skilled care facilities to provide hearing health care for residents. We schedule quarterly clinics to provide screenings for new residents as well as continued evaluations on all residents. All findings are reported to the skilled care facility, the resident's family and primary care physician. *Our Physicians Referral Program allows us to work hand-in-hand with local doctors to provide the best in hearing health care for their patients and issue full reports of all findings to the primary care physician. |
