Organizational mission or general goals:
Lighthouse Care Center of Conway is an inpatient psychiatric hospital committed to providing quality mental health and addiction treatment services as well as educational programs to the community. Our individualized treatment approach provides comprehensive psychiatric services, in order to help patients function with increasing responsibility and independence. Emphasis is placed on fostering family involvement and providing individuals the opportunity to confront their individual problems.
Primary services provided:
24 bed Adult Acute Psychiatric Services; 8 bed Adult Acute Dual-Diagnosis/Addiction Services; 20 bed Senior Adult Behavioral Health Acute Services.
Primary clientele served:
In our Senior Adult Behavioral Health Unit, we serve an adult population who require geriatric services. Patient qualification for this unit is based on level of functioning, not age alone. It typically serves 55+, not to exclude qualifying patients under the age of 55. Our other adult acute units serve adults 18+, including senior adults (based on level of functioning).

Lighthouse Care Center of Conway has 240 employees on staff, including doctors, board certified psychiatrists, a geriatric neuropsychiatrist, Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Masters level counselors, Certified Substance Abuse counselors, Registered Dietician (RD), and RN's.

Lighthouse has many credentialed staff members. Key doctors include; Dr. Susan Olson,Medical Director - Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology; Dr. William VanHorn Board Certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology; Dr. Adedapo Oduwole, Diplomate of the American Board of Addiction Medicine, Addiction Psychiatry, Psychiatry and Internal Medicine.

Referrals do not need to come from a professional such as your Primary Care Physician (PCP). Individuals can make a self-referral to Lighthouse Care Center of Conway, or a family member such as a spouse or adult child can make the referral.
