Organizational mission or general goals:
To provide dependable, consistent, and affordable in-home care for our clients and their families.
Primary services provided:
Services include, but are not limited to: Companionship & Conversation, Fall Prevention, Meal Preparation & Cleanup, Light Housekeeping, Errands & Transportation, Medication Reminders, Alzheimers & Dementia Care, Nutrition Counseling, Guardianship/Conservator/Financial/Fiduciary Administration and Estate Administration.

Senior Citizens and the Disabled.

Staff members eligible for professional credentialing and credentialed staff members employed:
Senior Helpers employs a fulltime Nutritionist, a legal Guardian/Conservator, CNA's, CHHA, CMA's, Phlebotomists, and EMT's. We also have an RN for consultations and assessments when necessary.
Clients/patients/participants served each year:
We serve an average of 50 clients at any given time.
Organization accredited or certified by an outside agency or association:
VA Certified and Medicaid Certified. We are active members of the Charleston South Carolina Alzheimer Committee, the Parkinson's Disease Association, and ALS (Lou Gehrig Disease) Association.
Special services or pricing for senior citizens:

Comments:
All of our Caregivers are licensed, bonded and insured. All Caregivers have successfully passed a thorough national background check, drug screening, and training seminar. Most of our Caregivers are CNA's and have at least 3 years of Caregiving experience. We also have an RN and Nutritionist on staff that oversees all assessments, and visits our clients when necessary.
We are non-contract and services can be terminated at any given time without penalty. |
