Organizational mission or general goals:
The Kingston Nursing Center is a non-profit skilled nursing home owned by Conway Medical Center. We provide care in a different way. We are an Eden Alternative home that provides sub-acute, skilled, and intermediate care. We put our elders at the center of everything we do. We are the home of choice in our area because we provide excellent health care, have a warm and safe home, and honor our elders' choices.
Primary services provided:
Subacute skilled and intermediate nursing care, and physical, occupational, and speech therapies are available on an inpatient basis. Occupational and speech therapies are available on an outpatient basis. For charges, contact the Center.
Primary clientele served:
Can admit adults over the age of 18 but most patients are over the age of 65.
Employees and/or volunteers:
Approximately 115 staff members plus numerous volunteers.
Staff members eligible for professional credentialing and credentialed staff members employed:
Approxately 80 nurses, certified nursing assistants, social workers, and administrators hold the appropriate licenses and certifications for their positions.
Clients/patients/participants served each year:
Approximately 30 admissions a month through our subacute unit.
Organization accredited or certified by an outside agency or association:
Medicare and Medicaid Certified. We are also approved to provide care through the Veterans Administration. We participate in Quality First.
Special services or pricing for senior citizens:
Most of our services are for seniors, for whom we also offer subacute rehabilitation and nursing care.
