Organizational mission or general goals:
The Pee Dee Speach and Hearing Center is a free standing, independent non-profit United Way agency that provides a wide range of services to people with communication disorders.

Primary services provided:
Hearing enhancement services; speech and language therapy. ($70 for a hearing evaluation; $150 for a speech/language evaluation; $120/hour for speech therapy; sliding scale for those who qualify for financial assistance. We try not to turn anyone away.)

Primary clientele served:
All ages including geriatric population.

Employees and/or volunteers:

Staff members eligible for professional credentialing and credentialed staff members employed:
Graduate degrees, state licensure and national certification for speech language pathologists and audiologists.

Special services or pricing for senior citizens:
Sliding scale pricing for low income senior citizens. We offer evaluation and therapy services for stroke and Parkinson's patients.
