Organizational mission or general goals:
Providing basic, primary medical care and medications to low income adults in Horry County who have no access to medical insurance.
Primary services provided:
Volunteer doctors see patients and prescribe medications to manage chronic diseases.
Primary clientele served:
Those over 18 years of age and a resident in Horry County. There is an application process and proof of income is required.
Employees and/or volunteers:
2 full-time & 3 part-time paid positions; 65+ volunteers that serve as doctors, nurses, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and clerical persons answering phones, scheduling patients, filing, etc. A great way to meet new people is to work with some of Horry County's finest!
