Organizational mission or general goals:
The Mobility Center's mission is to provide the highest level of quality service and customer satisfaction. Through our continuous commitment to customer needs, we strive to deliver high quality, low cost products and services to our patients and the general public of our market area. Locally owned and operated since 1996, we provide personal, friendly and knowledgeable service, and always focus on getting our patients "Going again...FAST!".
Primary services provided:
We offer a complete realm of Durable Medical Equipment for home use, including walkers, manual and electric wheelchairs, scooters, lift chairs, orthopedic soft goods, lift systems for the home and auto, vacation rental equipment, bathroom accessories, ramps, pressure reduction mattresses and cushions, seating and positioning, home oxygen therapy equipment, nebulizer medication therapy, and high-end rehabilitation mobility products. We are also an authorized dealer for the SafeGuard Medical Alarms (a personal emergency response system). We accept Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance.
Primary clientele served:
We primarily serve pediatric, elderly, and disabled clientele. Seniors make up 85-90% of our customer base.

Our professionally credentialed staff include a RN consultant, a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and three manufacturer certified specialists in the proper evaluation, set-up, placement, and education of home medical equipment and a factory authorized service center.

We serve approximately 1,500 clients/patients each year.

We are accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care, Inc. (ACHC), that fosters work places which provide patient-focused, provider-friendly educational programs to help our company stay focused on the best clinical practices, improve business operations, increase professional self-respect, and gain community credibility for having a dedication to high quality patient services.
Special services or pricing for senior citizens:
We offer a 1% discount to seniors over the age of 85. The majority of our services and products are Medicare/Medicaid reimbursable, so most patients have little or no out-of-pocket expenses.
Comments:
The Mobility Center provides area residents and vacationers who are physically challenged with many ways to be as active as they desire. A majority of our products are Medicare/Medicaid reimburseable, meaning that qualifying persons pay little or no out-of-pocket expenses. We also file incurance claims, releiving our clients of the burden. Our customers get the equipment that they need to get them going, at a cost they can afford. |
