Organizational mission or general goals:
Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for all senior individuals residing in Georgetown County.
Primary services provided:
Group dining; meals on wheels; in-home care - home maintenance and personal care services; health promotion; physical fitness; transportation; social support; and volunteer opportunities. (Services are free or on a sliding scale.)
Primary clientele served:
People in need of our services aged 60 and older.
Employees and/or volunteers:
3 full-time staff; 17 part-time employees; 30 volunteers
Staff members eligible for professional credentialing and credentialed staff members employed:
The supervisor and community specialist are eligible.
Clients/patients/participants served each year:
647 clients
Organization accredited or certified by an outside agency or association:
Must meet quality assurance standards monitored by the Lieutanant Governor's Office on Aging.
Special services or pricing for senior citizens:
No.
