Organizational mission or general goals:
Horry-Georgetown Technical College is a multi-campus, publicly supported, comprehensive community college withing the South Carolina Technical College System, mandated to provide exceptional learning opportunities and technological training to meet postsecondary educational needs and interests of residents and businesses of Horry and Georgetown Counties.
Primary services provided:
Continuing Education and curriculum classes, Library Services, Barnes and Noble Bookstore.

Ages 18+; all income levels; handicap accessible

Full time 300; Part time 300
Staff members eligible for professional credentialing and credentialed staff members employed:
Over 40% of the faculty have earned the doctorate or terminal degrees in their fields of expertise.

The Continuing Education Division works closely with senior citizens who not only have occupational skills but are willing to share their expertise with our students. Horry Technical Community College has several campuses: the Conway Campus is on Hwy 501, four miles east of Conway; the Grand Strand Campus is at 743 Hemlock Avenue, Myrtle Beach on the former MB Air Force Base; the Georgetown Campus is at 4003 S. Fraser Street, three miles south of Georgetown on Hwy. 17.
