Coastal Carolina University is proud of its athletic tradition because it reflects the University's commitment to excellence in the classroom and on the field. The University's 450 plus student-athletes consistently perform higher in the classroom than their non-athlete peers.

On the field, the Chanticleers have proven they are competitive against some of the nation's elite athletic programs. In recent years, football, baseball, softball, women's track and field, men's golf and men's soccer have produced several All-American performers, including NFL and MLB draft picks.

Since 1991, Coastal Carolina University has made more than 66 NCAA Championship appearances and has won 77 Big South Conference Championships. The University's success is measured by strong performances that grow stronger each season.
