Blake's Video

Does the name Blake Graham sound familiar to you? Okay, if not, chances are you might still be familiar with him. Remember the goosebump-inducing Coastal baseball “destiny” video that was released last summer? That one-of-a-kind voice belongs to Blake. Or perhaps you might be familiar with his acting work. In a recent Coastal Carolina commercial, Blake stars as the tour guide. You don’t have to dig deep to find other examples of Blake’s work either, the guy has graced CCU with his talent over the past four years.

So it probably comes as no surprise that Blake wants to become a successful actor and director. What might surprise you, however, is that he wants to immediately advance his education after he graduates in May and he wants to do it here at Coastal Carolina University. Blake has applied to the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies program and looks forward to spending a couple more years on campus. Yes, the marketing staff here at CCU is rejoicing.

But on a serious note, it is admirable that Blake has chosen to earn his graduate degree. If you ask him why he wants to continue his education at Coastal, he will tell you it is because of the “homey, welcoming feel.” He will also add that this campus is a place where individuals are meant to feel like part of the group, a feeling that you can’t find just anywhere. We thank Blake for sticking with CCU and we are excited to see him thrive even more.
