In a society where people will give up on hard tasks, cancel plans and shy away from any sort of commitment, it is always refreshing to see a young person who invests himself in whatever task is at hand. Noah Whitlock is a senior marketing student from York, Pa., who won’t stop a job until, in his words, it is “done and done well.”
The dedication that fuels Noah makes him a person you want on your college campus. It is a type of dedication that professors appreciate, classmates admire and employers depend on. Viewing Coastal Carolina University as a “big united family who supports one another” Noah wants to do all he can to serve the members of #TEALnation. His attitude explains why he works for CHANT411, the service on campus that answers questions and offers guidance for navigating the university system. For Noah, the opportunity to help others while also working with co-workers he truly cares about is just another avenue for him to further demonstrate his dedication toward everything he does.
A career in sports marketing is the ultimate goal for Noah. An avid sports fan himself, he would love to make a living around his passion, whether it be working for a team or at a sports agency. A very competitive and taxing industry, it takes an extreme amount of dedication. Luckily for Noah, he doesn’t have to worry about lacking in that department.

How did you hear about Coastal?: From my family who lives in Myrtle Beach.
Why did you come to Coastal?: I came to Coastal for the atmosphere and because I wanted to get a fresh start.

Favorite aspect of Coastal?: How we are one big united family who supports one another no matter how much or how little we know about each other.
Favorite aspect of living in the Conway/Myrtle Beach area?: The weather!
Do you work anywhere currently (either on or off campus)?: Adidas and CHANT411
Plans after graduation?: I want to work in marketing and/or advertising for a sports team or agency.
What are your hobbies?: Sports, music, travelling, outdoors and cooking
Do you have any hidden talents?: I can play the piano and I know the entire alphabet in sign language.
Bonus Info: I am a diehard Steelers and Orioles fan. I love everything about sports and getting to know the behind the scenes information on players and the history of teams. I love to work and believe that nothing comes easy, but hard work will always pay off.
