Rich Fruchterman recently took up yoga. He says it has helped his flexibility tremendously, an attribute his body lacked up until this point. However, although he might have lacked physical flexibility, there has never been an issue with his practical flexibility.

A junior from Fairfax, Va., Rich decided to attend Coastal so he could enroll in the Professional Golf Management program and continue to pursue and nurture his wide range of hobbies and talents. An avid fan of physical activity and a dedicated student of the stock market, he has been both creative and flexible when it has come to fitting in numerous activities on his busy schedule. When it comes to advancing his athletic prowess, Rich is involved in eight different intramural sports and has worked his way up to a supervisor role at the HTC Center’s fitness facility. On the financial side, not only is he studying business finance but he is a member of the Financial Management Association.

In addition to all of this, Rich still finds time to hit up the area’s golf courses, ride mopeds and study various financial markets on an independent basis. The only college he applied to, Rich knew that Coastal Carolina was the right choice. For Rich, that gut instinct is validated on a daily basis because of the people he has surrounded himself with. Raving about fellow students and professors alike, he is thankful he has found so many “like-minded” people to share his Coastal experience with.

Rich wants to work in the finance industry upon graduating from Coastal. With limitless potential and a laundry list of hobbies, Rich should enjoy a successful and fun-filled life.
