"Mentoring has been a great learning experience. The one thing I have learned...is that time and attention are the most effective ways to positively influence another life ."
-Stephen Jennings, Class of 2008, History
If YES, thank you so much, and please let your mentee, the school's mentor coordinator, and mwillis@coastal.edu know your plans. You will continue to mentor the same child, unless you specifically request a change.
You're not taking a course, but would like to mentor?
That's fine; a number of mentors are volunteers. We will continue to keep track of your service hours.
If NO, please talk with your mentee about this before the end of the semester, reassure them that it has nothing to do with them, but your schedule (or whatever your reasons) will not allow you to continue to see them. Please only say you will come to visit if you are certain you will do so. And let me know, so we can arrange for a new mentor next semester: mwillis@coastal.edu
Know someone who wants to be a mentor?
Please encourage them to complete the mentor application
