ONLINE COURSE FOR FACULTY: Quality Matters Training
PLEASE NOTE: This course is taught online. Faculty members will work through modules and apply lessons to their practice course. Discussions forums will be facilitated and moderated by TEAL Center staff members to assist faculty with any questions. Quizzes must be completed to receive full professional development credit for the course. Faculty members may sign-up for the course at any time and will be enrolled with in two business days. The Quality Matters (QM) Training course is designed to provide faculty with an introduction to the QM Program itself and to the specific standards that make up the QM Rubric. Quality Matters is a set of standards that is designed to certify the quality of online and blended courses. However, the standards can also be used as a checklist when designing courses to ensure quality education. This course can be beneficial to any faculty member whether they are an online teaching veteran or they are just getting started or thinking of the possibilities it can offer. Course outcomes At the conclusion of this course, you will be able to: Identify and explain the history of the QM Program. Identify and explain the QM course review process.
