Cancelled - Show the Impact of Your Research with Altmetrics
In this session, you will receive a brief overview of citation analysis and journal impact factors. You will learn how to use altmetrics, such as Google Metrics, and citation analysis tools in databases, such as “Web of Knowledge.” With these tools, you can measure the impact of your published work and demonstrate how your research products, both traditional and nontraditional, are being used and cited by other scholars. Build a powerful picture of how others are using the research you produce so you can quantify the quality of your work for annual evaluations, professional portfolios, C.V.’s, and promotion and tenure files.
