Writing Circle for Developing Short-term Study Abroad Programs
This writing circle will help faculty members develop short-term study abroad program proposals to offer to CCU students in the 2013/14 academic year and in Summer 2014. The writing circle will include partnering developers with members of the International Programs Committee, Office of International Programs and Services, and Executive Director of Global Initiatives to develop high quality academic travel study programs that are attentive to safety and logistics concerns. By using the discussion format to give feedback on one another’s programs, this session will help faculty members focus their efforts and arrive at novel, workable solutions to issues their program might face.
Each participant will have a complete short-term study abroad proposal ready for review within their college and at the university-level.
