Do you want to learn how to improve critical thinking and problem solving in your classroom? This session will walk you through the steps to design a problem-based learning lesson or project. We will help you think of an idea for a project or a lesson to use in your course if you do not have an idea yet.
Plan to bring your syllabus and course description. You will leave the session with at least one idea for a lesson or a project for your course using problem-based learning. (m15)
By the end of this session you will:
• Define project-based learning
• Identify the value of using problem-based learning
• Develop a lesson using the steps in the problem-based learning lesson plan
