Cancelled - Building Your Professional Portfolio: Preparing Your File for Third Year Review and Promotion and Tenure
Are you thinking about the “Third Year Review,” and the promotion and tenure process? This session will help you determine what goes into your portfolio, how to organize it, and how to keep up with the collection and organization of the information needed for the promotion and tenure process. Bring your college’s performance standards and/or elaborations for promotion and tenure and an annual report template. A USB drive (flash drive, thumb drive, etc) may be helpful too. We will provide participants with a format for their table of contents and cover sheets for the sections of their portfolio. Lecturers are encouraged to attend.
•investigate what is expected in their tenure and promotion portfolio
•discuss the required information and the “mandatory options” required for the portfolio
•choose the types of evidence that is the best to submit for review of college-specific tenure and promotion requirements
