The Center for Effective Teaching and Learning administers several programs designed to assist faculty in increasing student learning in their courses. These include:

• The New Faculty Orientation Program
• Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Grant Program
• Faculty Computer Initiative
• Services including assistance in exploring and incorporating technology in courses through the Technology in Education to Advance Learning (TEAL) Lab, voluntary in-classroom observation, assistance with voluntary mid-semester evaluations, and consultation on specific classroom goals
• Resources consisting of links and the CETL Library on various aspects of the instructional process such as student assessment, lecturing, and conducting discussions; and teacher effectiveness resources
• Professional activities and organizations
