Services: Scanning and Digitizing
The TEAL Lab in the
CETL offers assistance in the conversion of the following items to digital
format for instructional use:
- hard-copy documents
- photographs, negatives,
and slides
- audio files
- VHS tapes
The following equipment
and software is available in the TEAL Lab:
- a document and
photograph scanner (to request scanning of copyright material for use
in your class, please fill out a Material Copy Request)
- Adobe Audition
(sound studio software)
- video/DVD recorder
for VHS-to-DVD transfer of non-copyrighted instructional materials
- Adobe Premiere
(video editing software)
Faculty may use this
equipment and software as available or request assistance from a CETL
staff member or student technology assistant.
