The Burroughs and Chapin Center for Marine and Wetland Studies at Coastal Carolina University is dedicated to facilitate basic and applied research of marine and wetland environments in the region. Presently funded research projects in the region are underway from the coastal watersheds to the edge of the upper continental slope.
