StepUp! hosts disaster preparedness event for area nonprofits
"Are You And Your Agency Ready to Respond? Disaster Preparedness for Horry County Nonprofits" is part of StepUp's "Stepping Stones to Success" brown bag lunch and learn series. The event is free for up to three employees of nonprofit organizations located in Horry County.
The purpose of the workshop is to provide basic disaster planning information to area organizations as the 2007 hurricane season begins. The event will assist nonprofit agencies in formulating a disaster plan and in preparing for volunteer needs prior to a local disaster.
