Soul of the Community meeting set for CCU
Area community leaders are gathering to discuss the Knight Soul of the Community report, which was conducted over a three year-period in 26 U.S. cities including Myrtle Beach, to determine what connects people emotionally to where they live. The report has found a positive correlation between specific community attributes and local economic success. Four factors were determined to have strong correlations to community attachment: young leaders, aesthetics, social offerings and openness.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the report's findings and the four community attributes in particular.
