Panel to explore online ethics in CCU discussion
A panel of students and faculty will discuss issues such as cyberbullying, hacking, piracy and Internet surveillance as part of the Java Jabber series sponsored by CCU’s Jackson Family Center for Ethics and Values. Questions that will be addressed include: Does the Internet bring out the worst in people? Do we have true freedom of speech online? Is it ok for the government to monitor our online behavior?
The panel will include professors Jen Boyle, associate professor of English, and Corinne Dalelio, assistant professor of communication, as well as Jackson Scholar student Kara Olson, who is a senior.
