Coastal's Senior Festival prepares education majors

April 19, 2002

Coastal Carolina University's College of Education will hold its 14th Teacher Education Festival on Tuesday, April 23 from 9 a.m. to noon in the Physical Education Center gymnasium. The event is free and open to the public.

During the event seniors in the early childhood education, elementary education and recreation programs will present projects and displays from their methods courses.

The festival, set up in a trade show format, is designed to assist senior education majors in assimilating information from their methods courses before they begin practice teaching during the 2002 fall semester. The event also gives underclassmen an opportunity to better understand what will be expected of them in their senior year.
