Environmental courses on wetlands and endangered species regulations offered
Courses on wetlands delineation and on endangered species will provide hands-on experience in the field as well as instruction on writing reports to federal agencies. The courses will be taught by wetland biologists Jake Duncan, a former regulatory specialist with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and Lori Duncan, an instructor in endangered species with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
These courses will be especially useful to foresters, real estate agents, developers, bank professionals and others involved in land use.

- Basic Wetland Delineation: July 15 to 19 or Nov. 4 to 8; Fee: $685; - Advanced Hydric Soils: Aug. 12 to 16 or Dec. 9 to 13: Fee: $685; - Wetland Vegetation: Sept. 16 to 20; Fee: $650; - Advanced Wetland Delineation: Oct. 7 to 11; Fee: $685.
