CCU professors lead nature tour series at Litchfield Beach

Environmental Quality Assessment and Best Management
This hands-on tour includes an environmental evaluation of an area pond. Learn how scientists measure and examine water quality. Become informed about best management practices for maintaining environmental quality in residential areas.
Tour guide: Susan Libes, professor of marine science and chemistry
- Saturday, April 19
Explore an area wetland and learn to identify native plants and their ecological roles. The impact of development on wetland function will be discussed.
