While in the program, participants are employed part- time with the Georgetown County School Board or with Georgetown County.
The program is funded by a grant from the Waccamaw Private Industry Council, donations from International Paper, Georgetown Steel, Santee Cooper, and an allocation from Georgetown County Council to the Coastal Carolina University Georgetown Campus Advisory Board.
