An opening reception will be held Tuesday, April 27 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Rebecca Randall Bryan Art Gallery. The exhibition will remain up through Friday, May 7, with gallery hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The gallery is located in the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts. Parking is available in three lots adjacent to the building on Chanticleer Drive West.

Three more exhibitions featuring the works of the 28 graduating art students are planned for Myrtle Square Mall. Transitions Present I will run April 23 to 25 from noon to 3 p.m. each day, with an opening reception on Thursday, April 22 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Transitions Present II will be on exhibit from April 30 to May 2 from noon to 3 p.m. with an opening reception on Thursday, April 29 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Transitions Present III will run from May 7 to 9 from noon to 3 p.m. with an opening reception on Thursday, May 6 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Because of the large number of graduating seniors, we wanted to give them more opportunities to display their portfolios, said Will Hipps, Coastals art gallery director. Thanks to Burroughs & Chapin, we were able to find exhibit space at Myrtle Square Mall across from the CCU location there.
