Students are highly encouraged to attend the Senior Class Meeting. Important information for graduating seniors about the day of commencement such as what to do, where to go, what time to arrive, how to order graduation photos & DVD's, and when and how to get commencement tickets for friends and family.

Senior Celebration

Coastal Carolina University President and Mrs. David A. DeCenzo invite you to attend Senior Celebration, honoring the class of 2014. Senior Celebration is one of the final festivities for seniors to get together with fellow classmates and friends in celebration of their time at Coastal Carolina University. The reception includes light Hors d'Oeuvres and entertainment (seating is limited). 


2014 Summer Commencement 
Saturday, August 9, 2014 
8:30 a.m. 
HTC Student Recreation and Convocation Center 

Commencement begins at 8:30 a.m. as degree candidates march into the HTC Center. Students process with their school, behind the university banners listing the name of the school. This ceremony includes addresses from the president, the chairman of the Board of Trustees, and the commencement speaker; honorary degrees are bestowed; and students are officially recognized as graduates of the university.

The ceremony should last approximately two hours. To ensure a quick and safe exit, graduates are urged to make arrangements before Commencement to meet family and friends after the ceremony at a designated location.
