Initial Certification Programs
In the Spadoni College of Education professional program of teacher education, we subscribe to the highest standards for public school teachers held by the public, parents, school districts, and our own professional regulatory bodies. In society, teachers are entrusted with the safety and intellectual development of young lives and minds. The Spadoni College of Education is dedicated and committed to the preparation of highly qualified and competent teachers.
Our programs and policies are crafted to meet the requirements for producing competent beginning teachers certified to teach in South Carolina; and experienced teachers who are better prepared to pursue national certification. The teaching credential earned by our initial program graduates is transferable for at least one year to every state in the United States.
