Ashley Morris

Ashley Morris of Myrtle Beach, S.C., is a freelance features writer and editor who has successfully worked in the journalism field for the past 12 years with lifestyle magazines and publishing houses based in her native Pennsylvania, throughout South Carolina and into Chicago. She has interviewed celebrities such as Vanna White, Hootie and the Blowfish, the late author Mickey Spillane and more. Morris received her bachelor’s degree in English writing from the University of Pittsburgh. She currently works as a graduate student in CCU's Office of University Communication.

Anisa Benton

Anisa Benton is from Myrtle Beach, SC and she has a B. A. in Elementary Education from Clemson University as well as a B. A. in English from Coastal Carolina University. She currently teaches at Horry - Georgetown Technical College. In the past, she did freelance writing for Yikes! Magazine, The Sun News, The Horry Independent, Reverb Magazine, and Surge Magazine.

Cameron Scott Wright

Cameron Scott Wright is an Adjunct Professor of Developmental English at HGTC (2008-present). His publications include “Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs and the Total Reward System" with the Journal of Dental Technology. He has an MBA in Human Resource Management and Health Care Management from the University of Phoenix, a BA in Education from the University of Manitoba, and double-majored in English and Philosophy at the University of Manitoba, where he received the Student of Distinction award and the R.N. Hallstead Memorial Shakespeare Award. His interests are in philosophy, comparative spirituality, science fiction, and fantasy and young adult popular literature.

Jessica Cox

Jessica Cox is a first year student in the Master's of Arts in Writing program at Coastal Carolina University. She graduated from Coastal with her B.A in English in 2010. Jessica is a graduate assistant in the writing center at CCU helping students to better their writing. She is a member of the National English Honor Society, Sigma Tau Delta - Chi Ro Chapter. Last year Jessica held the position of Vice President for the honor society and is currently the Treasurer for the 2010-2011 year. Jessica has given workshops on how to create grants and conference proposals and how to apply to graduate school programs. Her passion is British literature from 19th century to present and Children's Literature. She is currently on the creative writing track of the MAW program for creative non-fiction writing. Jessica hopes to continue her education after finishing her MA in Writing at CCU and go on to either an MFA in Creative Non-fiction or her PhD in Children's Lit.

Lane Osborne (CCU ’96/BA English) is an artist and writer whose work has been featured in several publications. His artwork is owned by a former president, professional athletes, and art-loving people everywhere.

Robin Lewis

Robin Lewis completed her undergraduate studies at Warren Wilson College and Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts where she earned a BA in English/Communications with a concentration in Creative Writing and received awards for both fiction (2004) and poetry (2005). She has most recently published in GS Magazine, The Weekly Surge, and The Pettigru Review. She currently teaches English in the Developmental Studies Department at Horry Georgetown Technical College.

M.W. Fowler

M.W. Fowler received his BA in English from Coastal Carolina University. He currently works as a graduate assistant, managing web content for the Department of English and as fiction reader for Waccamaw, an online literary journal hosted by Coastal. His writing interests include screenwriting, short stories, and the novel.
