Presidential Merit Scholarship
In-State - $4000/year Out-of-State - $7500/year

Must be admitted by January 15
- 1250 SAT or 27 ACT and
- top 20% of class or GPA 3.5+

Must be admitted by January 15
- 1300 SAT or 29 ACT and
- top 20% of class or GPA 3.5+

Provost Merit Scholarship
In-State - $2000/year Out-of-State - $6500/year

Must be admitted by March 1
- 1200 SAT or 26 ACT and
- top 20% of class or GPA 3.5+

Must be admitted by March 1
- 1200 SAT or 26 ACT and
- top 20% of class or GPA 3.5+

Coastal Merit Scholarship

Professional Golf Management Scholars Program Award
These awards are for freshmen students of the Business/Professional Golf Management Program (PGM).
Recipients of these awards are not eligible for the CCU Presidential Merit, Provost Merit, or Coastal Merit Scholarships.

Visual and Performing Arts Scholarship
In-State - $1000/yr Out-of-State - $6500/yr
Priority deadline is March 1
- 1000 SAT or 21 ACT and
- minimum HS GPA of 3.0 and
- must major in art studio, dramatic arts, music or musical theatre. Audition/portfolio required

- 1100 SAT or 24 ACT
- 3.0 HS GPA
- Rank in top 30% of HS class

Palmetto LIFE Enhanced Scholarship
Automatic, no application required
Available to students who are eligible for the SC LIFE Scholarship and are pursuing majors in the following areas: science, mathematics, computer science/informational technology, engineering, science education, math education, and healthcare and related disciplines including medicine and dentistry.
Up to $2500/year added to SC LIFE Scholarship

Federal College Work-study
Need-based; work 10-20 hrs/week; federally subsidized; at least 1/2 time enrollment

Federal Perkins Loan
Need-based loan; limited funds; at least 1/2 time enrollment; interest free while in school; 5% in repayment; up to $3,000/yr

Federal Stafford Loan
Subsidized Unsubsidized
At least half-time; interest free while in school at least 1/2 time; loan limits based on grade level; $3500 (FR), $4500 (SO), $5500 (JR & SR); 6 month grace period; fixed interest rate at 6.8%, need-based aid. At least half-time; low interest (fixed at 6.8%) while in school at least 1/2 time; loan limits based on grade level; 6 month grace period, not need-based.

Federal PLUS Loan
Parent loan based on credit approval; FAFSA not required; at least 1/2 enrollment; can borrow up to Cost of Attendance; fixed interest rate of 8.5%; repayment begins 60 days after last disbursement of the loan.

SC Teacher's Loan - In-state residents only
Education Majors; FAFSA not required; at least 1/2 time enrollment; full repayment of loan(s) if teach in SC: specific criteria to qualify; deadline is June 1st; $2500/yr freshman & sophomore; $5000/year Jr & Sr
